Riding Rides

Ethan went to Incredible Pizza for his cousin's birthday party. He loved riding the rides! That place is crazy!

Ethan riding the rocking horse. He was a natural at this and rode it with one hand!

Ethan loved riding the train. He rode it by himself and it just want around and around in a small circle. Every time the ride was over he wanted to go again!

Being silly!

This was our first ride. It was an airplane that went up and down. He wasn't his favorite, but he liked it.

I have a feeling there will be several Chuck-E-Cheese, Incredible Pizza, or any place that has rides in my near future!

3rd Grade Classroom

Well...one week before school started I got the opportunity to move back into the classroom. Here are some pictures of my 3rd grade classroom that I put together in 3 days!! I worked from sun up to sun down to get it ready for "Meet the Teacher" night.

This is the wall outside of my classroom.

I had a really good first week of 3rd grade. Man...was it crazy busy!

Playing in Austin

Ethan and I went and visited Lacey for a few days in Austin. The first day she took us to this really cool park for Ethan to play! He had a really good time even though it was starting to get hot outside!

This was just 1/3 of the park! It was huge!

Ethan loved swinging. I think if we would have let him swing as long as he wanted then he probably would have fallen asleep!

Water was much needed after all that playing!

Fredericksburg, Texas

Aaron and I spent our 5th wedding anniversary in Fredericksburg, Texas...located in the Texas Hill Country. We had a really good time. We stayed at Albert's Alsatian which was a restored historic barn. The former president George Bush stayed here also!

This was the front of the barn

This was the ceiling in the kitchen

This was the ceiling in the rest of the barn

We did alot of shopping and eating while we were there. They had over 150 shops!! They also had a ton of bakery type places...which I loved!

There were tons of shops on both sides of the street. We did one side one day and the other side the next day!

This was the map we used to see what shops we wanted to go in

Aaron also has some family that live in Kerrville so one day we headed down there to visit them. On our way we stopped in at the James Avery Headquarters. It looked just like a church camp!

As we were leaving James Avery these deer just came right up to our car. It was crazy!

We also spent one day going to Luckenbach, Texas. That was interesting to say the least!

We had a really good time in Fredericksburg. We can't believe that it's already been 5 years since we got married!

Bath Date

Ethan has really enjoyed his "bath dates." Aaron and I have been able to hang out with some friends and stay later than normal so we have been giving the kids baths and then putting them to bed while we continue to hang out with our good friends!

Ethan taking a bath with Faith...if they get married...I'm going to show this picture at their wedding!! :)

Play Dates

I took Ethan to play at Willow Bend Mall. He loved it!! We have even gone back several times since then and brought some friends along with us!

I'm not sure if he's wondering who this "girl" is or if he's wondering why she is standing on his egg!

Playing with our cousin Tyler Faith!

Man...all this playing requires a snack!

This place is the most kid friendly play place that I have seen. I highly recommend it!
